New Safety Update 9/10/24

Middletown City School District (MCSD) has been made aware of a new threat involving both Middletown Middle School and Middletown High School. This follows a similar threat made earlier today, in which an MCSD student is now facing charges.

The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. MCSD is working closely with the Middletown Division of Police as it continues to investigate this new threat. All school activities will continue as usual on Wednesday, with an increased police presence at both the middle and high schools.

MCSD maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to threats of violence and suspects will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
