Longtime MCSD Employee named Grand Marshal for City's 4th of July Parade
Jul 1, 2024
Joni Crow, the longest-serving employee of Middletown City School District, will be the Grand Marshal for the City of Middletown's 2024 4th of July parade.
Crow, who currently serves as an Intervention Specialist at Middletown Middle School, is entering her 45th year in education as a Middie.
She has a strong connection to the Middletown community, and is even a direct descendant of Middletown founders Daniel Doty and Stephen Vail!
Over her more than four-decade career in education in Middletown, she has worked at Verity Middle School and Middletown Middle School.
Crow told Middletown Ohio Events that in the 2024-2025 school year, she will welcome her first third-generation student and the fifth member of the same family into her classroom.
The theme of the city's 2024 4th of July parade is "Path to the Future" and the city says it can't think of anyone better to lead the event.
