What is College Credit Plus?
College Credit Plus is Ohio’s program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families. To learn more, visit the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce: CCP.
The Middletown City School District will hold its annual College Credit Plus (CCP)/ Early College Academy student/parent meeting in the MHS auditorium on Thursday, January 23 at 6 pm. Information about the free college credit options during the 2025/2026 school year will be covered, along with completing the state-required "Intent to Participate" form which is due by April 1, 2025. School Guidance Counselors will be in attendance to help answer your questions.
Many of our students apply to these 3 local colleges. Please see their links below to apply for CCP (College Credit Plus) by their deadline for the following school year. Please know that other Ohio colleges offer CCP and students are welcome to apply.
