Dr. Million Crowned Mrs. Ohio America

Dr. Anedra Million, a Highview 6th Grade Center teacher, has been crowned Mrs. Ohio America 2024.

The prestigious title is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion inside and outside the classroom. 

In an interview with 2News WDTN after her achievement, Dr. Million said she plans to use the crown to amplify student voices. She also aims to give students the opportunity to get involved in social-emotional learning opportunities and inform them about mental health resources and initiatives.

"I believe that it’s important for other young women to see themselves within me," Dr. Million told 2News.

Dr. Million will now compete for the title of Mrs. America 2024 in Las Vegas this August.
