Tomorrow's Artists Today
Congratulations to the FIVE Middie Artists who received awards:
- Abbey Tadych (MS) won 3rd place in Digital Art for “A.T. #1”
- Caleb Krebs (HS) received Honorable Mention in Mixed Media for “Distant”.
- Hannah Rogers (HS) received Honorable Mention in Mixed Media for “Untitled”.
- Xiarymar Correa Rosario (HS) won 3rd place in Drawing for “Listen”.
- Emily Baty (HS) won 3rd place in Mixed Media for “Untitled”.
Last week your MHS & MMS teachers submitted student work to the Middletown Arts Center (better known as MAC) for their annual Tomorrow's Artist Today art show/ competition. Between both schools, 23 pieces were accepted.
- The Middies have 23 out of 109 pieces accepted.
- The High School had 21 accepted out of 25 submitted.
- Middletown High School is 1 out of 10 schools represented in the show.
THIS IS A BIG DEAL!
Details on the show:
It runs from February 9- March 14 during normal MAC hours
(Mondays 9:00 am-3:00 pm, Tuesdays- Thursdays 9:00 am -8:30 pm)
