Middletown City School District (MCSD) is proud to announce that the Middie Marching Band and Cheerleaders have been invited to perform in the 2025 Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity comes thanks to a special invitation from Vice President-Elect JD Vance, a 2003 graduate of Middletown High School.

The prestigious honor highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of our students and staff and represents a moment of pride for the entire Middletown community.

"We are honored and excited to be included in this historic moment and represent our district, city, county, and state in celebration of Middletown High School alumnus, Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance," Middletown High School Principal Carmela Cotter said.

During the Inaugural Parade, scheduled for January 20, 2025, the newly-sworn president and vice president will make their way to the East Front steps of the Capitol where they will review military troops before leading a procession of ceremonial military regiments, citizens’ groups, marching bands, and floats down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.

"We are honored to represent Middletown High School in the 2025 Inaugural Parade and understand this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students," David Leisten the Director of Bands at Middletown High School said.
