MHS Senior Kaydence Young Awarded Prestigious Anthony Muñoz Foundation Straight ‘A’ Scholarship

Kaydence Young, a senior at Middletown High School, has been named one of 18 recipients of the highly competitive Anthony Muñoz Foundation Straight ‘A’ Scholarship. Young was selected from a pool of 494 student nominations representing 140 high schools across the Tri-State region.

The Straight ‘A’ Scholarship honors students who embody excellence in multiple dimensions: academic excellence, athletic achievement, active involvement in the community, strong ambition, a positive attitude, and the ability to rise above adversity. Young’s leadership and accomplishments stood out among hundreds of remarkable students.

As a recipient, Young will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship to support her continued education. She will be formally recognized for her outstanding achievements at a luncheon on April 30, where she will be celebrated alongside her fellow scholarship winners.

The Anthony Muñoz Foundation, established by NFL Hall of Famer and former Cincinnati Bengals legend Anthony Muñoz, is committed to impacting the lives of Tri-State youth mentally, physically, and spiritually through its award programs and outreach. The Straight ‘A’ Scholarship is one of the foundation’s most distinguished honors.
