MCSD Receives Prestigious Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting

Middletown City School District (MCSD) has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.

The prestigious award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) is the highest form of achievement in governmental accounting and financial reporting. MCSD's financial report was evaluated by an impartial panel and was found to meet the rigorous standards set by the GFOA program.
