In Loving Memory

Dear Middletown Families and Staff:

It is with great sadness that I announce that one of our staff members passed away on Thursday, January 13. All of us are deeply saddened by the loss of Matthew Combs and we want you to know that we are here to help you in any way we can. 

Matthew worked tirelessly in our technology department. He ensured Chromebooks and hotspots were delivered, fixed, and in the hands of our students. This morning, we asked his colleagues and friends in the Technology Department to write a few words about Matthew:

Matt was the heart and soul of the student intern program at ‘The Spot’ in Middletown High School, which he helped develop and create. He always had a smile and was willing to help anyone at any time.

We will miss Matthew, especially his kindness and friendship. Please keep his family and colleagues in your thoughts.

Apreciadas familias y personal de Middletown:

Con gran tristeza les anuncio que uno de los miembros de nuestro personal falleció el Jueves 13 de Enero. Todos nosotros estamos profundamente apenados por la pérdida de Matt Combs y queremos que sepa que estamos aquí para ayudarlo de cualquier manera que podamos.

Matt trabajó incansablemente en nuestro departamento de tecnología. Se aseguró de que los Chromebooks y los puntos de acceso fueran entregados, reparados y en manos de nuestros estudiantes. Esta mañana, les pedimos a sus colegas y amigos del Departamento de Tecnología que escribieran algunas palabras sobre Matt:

Matt fue el corazón y el alma del programa de estudiantes en prácticas en 'The Spot' en Middletown High School, el cual ayudó a desarrollar y crear. Siempre tenía una sonrisa y estaba dispuesto a ayudar a cualquiera en cualquier momento.

Extrañaremos a Matt, especialmente su amabilidad y amistad. Por favor, mantenga a su familia y colegas en sus pensamientos.
