EMIS Coordinator for Middletown City Schools Completes SWOCA EMIS Advanced Leadership Program
Gail Sams, EMIS Coordinator for the Middletown City School District, was recognized recently for her successful completion of the 2-year long SWOCA EMIS Advanced Leadership (SEAL) program.
Mrs. Sams was chosen to attend this selective program based on her expertise in Ohio’s Education Management Information System (EMIS). EMIS is a statewide data collection system for Ohio's primary and secondary education, including demographic information, attendance, course information, financial data, and test results.
“Middletown City Schools runs smoothly because of Mrs. Sams’ hard work managing all the different data sources needed in a school district. By completing the SEAL program, Ms. Sams is a proven leader in the EMIS community and in our schools; we are lucky to have her on our team,” said Randy Bertram, MCSD Treasurer.
