Attention: Central Academy Parents/Guardians
UPDATE #1
On Sunday, February 14, 2021, we discovered the lower portion/basement area of Central Academy had a pipe burst and flooded the entire area. This area contains many of the mechanical components of our building, including the boilers. Our building has sustained some extensive water damage, so we will need to make adjustments to our learning.
From 2/16 (Tuesday) through 2/19 (Friday), all students will move to Remote Learning. Students will follow the same Remote Learning schedules they have been following while receiving remote instruction on Wednesdays. All students regardless of their assigned instructional days are expected to attend each day's Zoom sessions with their classroom teacher(s).
Your child's classroom teacher(s) will also be reaching out to you.
In the event that a "snow day" is called any day this week, it will serve as a traditional "snow day" and no instruction will take place that day.
We appreciate your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family.
-Brandon Grubenhoff, Principal at Central Academy
