Technology Department

The Middletown City School District Technology Department is committed to strengthening collaboration across the district through the effective use of technology. By empowering our users with reliable tools and support, we help advance high-quality teaching, learning, and operations throughout our schools and community.

We are dedicated to providing students, teachers, administrators, and staff with dependable, secure, and innovative technological environments. While technology is not always without interruption, we recognize the impact that technical issues can have on instruction and daily operations. Our Technology Coordinator, Network and Servers Supervisor, and Support Specialists provide in-person and phone support five days a week.

Support requests may be submitted by staff at any time through our online help desk: One To One Plus. Submitting a request generates a service ticket, allowing our team to track, prioritize, and respond to issues as efficiently as possible.

While in Middletown City School District, your student might use any of the following pieces of technology:

Whenever possible, we purchase technology that is touch capable for the highest learner engagement and accessibility. Right now you will find that most students use Chromebooks at school. iPads are also available in Maker Spaces.

Middletown City Schools became a Google Apps for Education (GAFE) school in 2012 when we first started purchasing Chromebooks. As of 2020, we now have a device for every student grades 1-12.
